Benro Tortoise 24CLV Levelling Tripod
The 24CLV and 34CLV (sold seperatley) are the latest in Benro’s Tortoise series of levelling tripods. These tripods have been very popular with photographers looking for a compact and lightweight setup whilst being stable and with a decent maximum load capacity.
Rapid levelling system
The 24CLV tripod legs feature a levelling system at the top of the tripod that allows the user to quickly level the platform that the head sits on without having to waste time adjusting leg locks for the same effect. This is perfect for using a gimbal head for wildlife or a geared head for photographing landscapes.
Lightweight and sturdy
The 24CLV has been constructed from a braided carbon fibre composite that allows the tripod legs to remain lightweight. Weighing in at only 1.38kgs these legs are capable of a 14kg maximum load capacity.
Spider Leg Design
Tortoise tripods have no central column which makes them extremely portable. The braided carbon fibre composite spider design is adaptive to a range of leg angle adjustments, simply depress the pre-locking button for full movement until you reach the desired angle.
Easy twist locks make deployment of the tripod fast and effortless so that you can spend more time focusing on getting that perfect shot. The legs are incredibly adaptive to fit in a range of environments meaning that you will never find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Choice of Rubber or Spiked Feet
Be prepared for any location with a choice of spiked or rubber feet included. Choose rubber feet for grip on smooth surfaces such as wood flooring and rock. Or, opt for the spiked feet on softer surfaces such as grass. The Tortoise 24CLV is adaptive to all of these environments.
