AQCOLOR Advantage

This monitor features BenQ AQCOLOR technology. This technology has been designed to allow the monitor to display colour as accurately as it is intended to appear.

Industry Standard Colour Performance

Focused on delivering absolute colour accuracy, BenQ monitors such as the SW series are dedicated to delivering industry-standard colour performance. Making it exceptional for photo and video editing.

99% Adobe RGB colour space

With 99% Adobe RGB colour space, providing you with a greater range of colour reproduction than would traditionally be seen in sRGB monitors. This results in producing far more realistic colours, especially within the shades of blue and green.

Realistic colour representation

Thanks to the 99% Adobe RGB colour space, the SW270C can deliver a more realistic colour representation. This is ideal for outdoor and nature photography, where you want to be able to accurately reproduce the colours of your in life subject. Allowing you to edit your images to a quality that makes the subject appear true to life.

Multiple colour spaces

The SW270C is able to offer multiple colour spaces including 100% sRGB and Rec.709 and 97% DCI-P3 and Display P3. As well as the previously mentioned 99% Adobe RGB colour space.

16-bit lookup table (LUT)

This BenQ monitor boasts a highly improved RGB colour blending accuracy due to its 16-bit lookup table (LUT). Enabling impeccable colour reproduction and Delta E ≤ 2 in Adobe RGB and sRGB colour space.

10-bit Colour Depth

The SW270 Pro 27 inch monitor has a 10-bit colour depth allowing you to enjoy smooth colour gradations along with more than one billion colours and an increased range of natural shading.

Working to improve and surpass industry colour standards

As a company that has dedicated itself to achieving the highest level of colour accuracy in every detail, often surpassing industry colour standards.

Uniformity Technology

Delivering screen-wide precise colour from corner to corner, thanks to BenQ Uniformity Technology. The Sw270C is able to offer this due to the meticulous fine-tuning of hundreds of sub-regions on the screen for balanced brightness.

Multiple Monitor Consistency

Using multiple monitors can sometimes come with issues of inconsistency in the colour displayed on each monitor. BenQ has attempted to combat this by ensuring monitors from different production lines will display colour at an identical level. Therefore enabling photographers and videographers to perceive consistent colours when working on dual screens.

Hardware Calibration

Having a monitor that is capable of Hardware calibration lets you make adjustments to the image processing chip in the monitor, without interfering or changing the graphics card output data. Therefore reassuring you that your images remain consistent with original copies without being affected by graphic settings.

Factory Calibrated

Each SW270C monitor has been calibrated for precise Delta-E and Gamma performance. This essentially means that each monitor comes ready for out-of-the-box colour accuracy. Should you find that you need to use the monitor straight out of the box BenQ’s high-quality manufacturing standards will allow you to do so without compromising on the colour accuracy of your images.

Maintain colour performance

With the use of Palette Master Element software and calibrator, you can maintain the high-quality colour performance of your SW270C monitor. This software allows you to calibrate and fine-tune your screen, increasing long term optimal performance.

High Dynamic Range

Designed with HDR10 technology, the SW270C allows videographers the option to preview their video content with the HDR effect during the editing process. Allowing you to gain the best results out of your post-production process.

Featuring video format support

The SW270C can go beyond simple still photo editing with the capability to preview video footage without pulldown or distortion. The SW270C supports 24P/25P film content, shown at native cadence for a seamless display.

Having tested a select number of SDI to HDMI devices as compatible with the SW270C monitor, you can connect select SDI devices to the monitor. Allowing for stable, non-compressed signal transmission between your device and your screen.

Ambient lighting can often cause glare to appear on your monitor, use the detachable shading hood to effectively reduce screen glare. This reduction of glare ensures superb colour accuracy, an ideal feature for any professional photographer or editor.
