Atomos Ninja V Pro Kit
Atomos have designed their Ninja Pro Kit to bridge the gap between compact cinema and mirrorless cameras. Outputting high-quality RAW footage via HDMI or SDI. The thought that has gone into creating the Pro Kit, takes all the benefits of the original Ninja V and amplifies them.
Record up to 6K 12-bit RAW footage
The capacity to record up to 6K 12-bit RAW on the Ninjas onboard SSD. Capture high-grade video easy and quick, while having the added bonus of being able to use the added resolution to make edits post-production without loss of quality.
Cross Convert signals with the Pro-Kit
Cross convert signals with the Pro-Kit, providing a versatile solution for monitoring and reviewing your footage. Capture footage from multiple via the HDMI input or SDI input. The AtomX SDI module even enables you to capture RAW via SDI input.

The compact, robust 5” aluminium monitor is ideal for a compact rig setup. Making it perfect for run and gun productions or documentary filmmaking. The Ninja V pro kit allows you to have a high-quality compact cinema rig, while still being flexible and mobile.
Focused on image integrity
The screen on the Ninja V pro has a 1000nit capacity, providing you with the foundation for scalability and modularity without compromising on the quality of the image. Atomos Ninja V focus on image integrity rather than proving an increased backlight (which can be found on other playback monitors).
Additional 5” sun hood for bright outdoor shoots
The provided AtomX 5” sun hood can be used during difficult bright outdoor conditions to help maintain the quality of the playback image, by reducing ambient light and increasing monitoring options when recording outside.
Powering the Ninja V Pro
There are a number of power options when operating the Ninja V Pro. The standard is the use of the DTap cable to connect to your choice of battery. This lets you operate your camera rig from a single power source. Perfect for outdoor shooting or moments when you need to be on the move.
Multiple power options
The other option is via the DC power supply lockable jack, letting you connect to an international power plug, a great option if you are working in a studio setup, with very little movement. The final option for powering your Ninja V Pro-Kit is the optional NPF battery or any 4 cell NPF you might have. Again this option gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of being able to move without wires getting in the way.
Expanded compatibility of the Ninja V Pro Kit
With the dual 12G SDI connectivity having been added to the Ninja V Pro, this has expanded the compatibility of the Ninja V Pro with other cameras. Providing offboard 10-bit 422 recording in edit-ready codecs. Allowing the timecodes and filenames from the camera to be carried via SDI to the recorded files.
Supports capturing RAW over HDMI
Supports capturing RAW over HDMI from a growing list of compatible mirrorless cameras. Such as the Sony Alpha A7s III or the Olympus OM-D E-M1X and many more.
Brilliant playback quality
Designed with lossless signal distribution, with 2 x 12G SDI and 1 x HDMI 2.0 for simultaneous up to 4K output. Providing you with brilliant quality during playback. The playlist function gives you a fast and convenient method of reviewing your procured content. Making your workflow faster and more convenient to you.
Easily Convert to HLG or PQ
Easily convert to HLG, PQ or apply your choice of 3D Lut. Letting you view the footage in a way that matched the artist style of the final product.
Enjoy clear and accurate monitoring
The high pixel density provided clear and accurate monitoring of HDR and SDR. AtomHDR engine has been created to perfectly manage and match the camera Gamma and Gamut on the input. You can go on to use this added information to accurately map the dynamic range of your camera LOG to HLG or PQ HDR standards.
Cross Convert HDMI or SDI connections
The SDI module helps to at least double the input and output functionality of the Atomos Ninja V Pro-Kit. Granting you the ability to cross convert HDMI or SDI connections, DCI cropped and 4K to HD down converts for video signals. Proving a bridge between EVFs, wireless TX/RX equipment without needing additional converters.
Widely supported ProRes RAW format
ProRes RAW has become the standard format for capturing RAW video footage. Being supported in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro along with a collection of other apps gives you more creative control over the final post-production process
