Atomos Ninja
The Atomos Ninja features a completely overhauled operating system, the AtomOS 11,* making it cleaner, fresher and faster than previous models. New features include EL Zone exposure referenced colourised image, ARRI False Colour, and new scheduled playback & recording tools. The Ninja comes equipped with a 5-inch HDR screen, is capable of recording ProRes RAW and can be connected to almost any camera making this a must-have tool for any filmmaker.

Now With Even More Codecs
The Atomos Ninja now features even more codecs as standard. These include 6K ProRes RAW, ProRes, DNxHD and H.265. All of these were available as paid options in previous models but now come included.
Blend Right In
Both the Atomos Ninja and Atomos Ninja Ultra have been housed in a ‘camo’ colour polycarbonate body.
Stay Connected
You can combine the Ninja with an Atomos Connect expansion module* to enable Atomos RemoteView. This is a new technology that allows you to share live views from your Atomos screen with other Atomos monitors, iPads, Macs and Apple TVs wirelessly.

Backwards-Compatible
Both versions of the Ninja are backwards-compatible with their predecessors, the Ninja V and Ninja V+. This allows you to use all Atomos and third-party accessories with the new products.
New Features
- Segment Pro* - This feature automatically splits files when they reach a preset size or duration that you can specify to your liking.
- New Time-lapse - You can set up time-lapse recording directly from the Ninja, completely independent of your camera’s controls.
- RecordAssist - Allows you to set a time for your recording to start. This is perfect for covering pre-arranged events when you need to be somewhere else. You can even record in multiple locations simultaneously if you have access to several Ninjas.
- PlaybackAssist - Allows you to set a time for your Ninja to play files and sequences.
- EL Zone support - Displays exposure values using stops. This feature is similar to false colour but allows for higher precision, greater consistency, and more intuitive on-set communication.
- ARRI False Colour - ARRI colourised exposure display as a selectable alternative to Atomos false colour.

What is the difference between the Atomos Ninja and Atomos Ninja Ultra?
The Atomos Ninja Ultra has all of the features of the Ninja but with the following extras;
- 4K 60p ProRes RAW H.265 1080 60p Dual Record Codecs
- Single codec record – 8K RAW 30p Support
- NDI 4K TX (optional licence)
- The NID TX option turns your Connect-enabled Ninja into an NDI source, visible to all other NDI-compatible devices on the local network.
