What is so good about the LEE100 Deluxe Kit?
Well, as the name suggests, this is all that most people want in a filter system to cover a multitude of different requirements a photographer needs.
When shooting landscapes, for example, the light changes all the time. The ability to have a kit with 3 different ND Grads, Polariser and a Big Stopper ND that can be quickly and easily positioned or removed is worth every penny. Why 3 Neutral Density Graduated filters?
To be able to create the best image at the time of capture you need to have a flexible filter kit to cover all scenes and lighting types. Having 3 different strengths of ND Grad and 2 strengths of line transition, you will be able to cover most types of sky you are shooting in your scene.
For example, a neutral density filter with a medium-edged line of transition is able to filter the sky while minimizing its effect on the land. This is particularly useful for images that include elements like rooftops and mountains that protrude into the sky. A neutral density filter with a very hard-edged line of transition is particularly useful for images such as seascapes which include very defined horizon lines.
This kit really does cater for all types of landscape scenes as well as other subjects.
