Panasonic LUMIX G9 II - First Look
Panasonic has just unveiled the new Lumix G9 II. Our very own Ben Wright took it to the Bristol Zoo Project to see how it fared with the animals. See what he makes of it in this video!
Stand-out features
The Panasonic G9 II features a new 25.2MP sensor with PDAF (Phased Detection Auto-Focus), 13+ stops with dynamic range boost, and ISO 100-25600 extendable on the low end to 50. Incorporating the latest engine with L2 Technology the camera features a higher resolution, higher bit rate, and minimal rolling shutter.
The first LUMIX G with Phase Hybrid AF, consisting of Phase Detection, Contrast, and Detection autofocus, the Lumix G9 II offers significantly improved subject tracking and has had its AF points increased to 779, ensuring everything is in focus.
Improved 8.0-stop 5-axis BIS compensation power is provided even at slower shutter speeds, and the G9 II is capable of high-speed and high-resolution video, granting 5.7K 60p and 4K/C4K 120P in 10-bit, for smooth and high-quality video.
